Karjala

Past few month I’ve started to learn watercolour. I’ve dreaming about it a lot since time, when I started drawing. But I had no chance before this time: a lot of studies in digital art, depression, etc. But this year I got it. Finally. This is my first ever completed artwork in watercolours. I’ve made it 4 month ago. And, honestly, I had a lot of mixed feelings when I painted this. And oh my god how different the process from digital painting. How different the feelings. It’s…it’s awesome!

Yes, I’m still excited :) Even now - a few month later after I’ve did it. And I have the same feelings everytime when I’m working with watercolor.
Hey hey…okay, I have a little story about it.
A dream. A nightdream. I had it right before I started with watercolours.
I was in Paris (oh yes. This cozy city still in my heart <3 ) and I had a little art workshop in cozy old house with wooden floors and sunny room. It was full of portraits and landscapes. There was people. They walked around and looked at the paintings. And there was an old french guy with gray beard and tons of impressive wrinkles on his face. My agent. And all this was so real and so beautiful. I was crying when I woke up. This day I came to store and by my first palette, paper and watercolours. Never regret it <3
